SEMH Teaching Assistant - £95 to £115 per day
Location: Stratford | Full-Time | Immediate Start

Do you have experience working with challenging behaviours and supporting pupils with additional needs?
Tempest Resourcing is currently working with a highly respected SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Stratford that provides a therapeutic and supportive environment for pupils with complex needs. The school caters to students in Key Stages 2-5, all of whom have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
We're looking for dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistants who are confident, resilient, and committed to supporting young people with a range of neurodiverse needs, including:
ADHD
Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Mental health diagnoses
Trauma and attachment difficulties
Students who have been excluded from or struggled in mainstream settingsWhat We're Looking For:
Experience supporting children or young people with challenging behaviours
A calm, patient and consistent approach
Strong behaviour management skills
Understanding of SEMH, ASC, ADHD, or similar conditions
A valid Enhanced DBS (Child and Adult Workforce) - or be willing to obtain one
