Job description Location: Berkeley, Gloucestershire Salary: £22,102.72- £24,103.93 actual salary - dependant on experience and qualifications Plus £1000 Welcome bonus* Hours: Full-time - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Term time only About the Role: Simply Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a NAS accredited specialist team at a highly respected independent special day school. This role is integral in creating better outcomes and enhancing life chances for students aged 6 to 19 who have a range of MLD and SLD needs, including autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and associated difficulties. Many students also have complex medical needs and sensory/physical impairments. The ideal candidate will support students in managing sensory overload, anxiety, low self-esteem, low confidence, and difficulties with transitions, often demonstrated through behaviours.
