Location: M24 Manchester
Pay Range: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Reeson Education has a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and vibrant EYFS team in a well-respected primary school located in the M24 area of Manchester. This Teaching Assistant position is to start as soon as possible and will run throughout the remainder of this academic year and the full next academic year-with a temp to perm pathway in place.
This is an outstanding two-form entry school known for its supportive leadership, excellent early years provision, and positive school community. The Teaching Assistant will be placed within Nursery or Reception, depending on experience and school needs.
About the Teaching Assistant role;
* Join the early years team as a Teaching Assistant supporting learning across Nursery and Reception.
* The Teaching Assistant will work Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 3:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
* This is a full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant opportunity with potential for a permanent contract.
* You will help deliver the Early Years Curriculum, support 1:1 and group learning activities, and contribute to a happy and purposeful environment.
* The Teaching Assistant will also plan and deliver targeted interventions, helping to boost progress and support individual learning needs.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will:
* Have EYFS experience from a school or nursery setting.
* Hold or be working toward a relevant Level 3 childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
* Be confident supporting phonics, early numeracy, and developmental play.
* Be adaptable, nurturing, and a strong team player.
* Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain).
* References covering a minimum of 3 years.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Passion for early years education and inclusive learning environments.
