Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: M16, Manchester
Pay Range: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Reeson Education is excited to be recruiting for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a thriving and inclusive primary school in the M16 area of Manchester. This EYFS Teaching Assistant role is to begin as soon as possible and is expected to continue for the full academic year, with the successful candidate moving onto a direct school contract. The school is looking for the EYFS Teaching Assistant to begin immediately and stay in post through the rest of this school year and beyond.

About the EYFS Teaching Assistant role:
You will be working as an EYFS Teaching Assistant in a two-form entry mainstream primary school with a vibrant and supportive early years team.
The EYFS Teaching Assistant position is full-time, Monday to Friday, and the hours are 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute break.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, supporting the class teacher, leading group activities, and providing one-to-one interventions.
The EYFS Teaching Assistant will also help establish routines, manage classroom behaviour positively, and support the wider early years team in creating a nurturing learning space.
The ideal EYFS Teaching Assistant will:
Have recent experience in an early years setting-this could be in a school, private nursery, or equivalent EYFS environment.
Understand the EYFS framework and developmental milestones.
Ideally hold a relevant Level 3 qualification (desirable, not essential).
Have excellent communication skills and be confident working in partnership with teachers and parents.
Be proactive, reliable, and bring a positive and flexible attitude to each day.
EYFS Teaching Assistant Requirements:
Clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Two references covering the last three years, including one from your most recent employer.
Experience supporting EYFS pupils and a strong understanding of early years development.
Ability to create a fun, inclusive, and structured environment as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
