Teaching Assistant - Secondary School, Ealing - September 2025 Start
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded secondary school in the London Borough of Ealing, starting September 2025. This full-time role will run until the end of the term initially, with strong potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
This role is ideal for individuals looking to begin or further a career in education, offering invaluable experience in a classroom environment.
The successful candidate will provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) both one-to-one and in small groups, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
You will also work closely with teaching staff to assist in lesson delivery, monitor student progress, and provide constructive feedback. Strong communication skills, a nurturing approach, and the ability to build positive relationships with young people are essential.
The school is a large, mixed secondary school catering to students aged 12 to 18. It has a reputation for excellent behaviour and a supportive staff culture. The SEN team is well-established, led by an experienced SENCo, and holds regular weekly meetings to ensure collaborative support for students.
Key details:
Pay: £90-£100 per day
Hours: 8:30am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-time, long-term (with possible permanent opportunity)

To be considered, candidates must hold a degree, have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, relevant reference checks, and the right to work in the UK. A full employment history (covering the last 10 years where possible) is also required.
