Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEND) in their learning journey? Do you have experience working as a Teaching Assistant and thrive in a part-time role? If yes, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school in Sparkhil, due to start as soon as possible. This is a part-time role working 3 days a week. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to support students with their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist students with SEN in their daily activities and learning tasks
– Support teachers in implementing individual education plans
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children with SEND
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Patience and empathy towards students with diverse learning needs
– Relevant qualifications in education or SEND support
