Team Leader – Learning Disabilities Service | Cannock (WS11) | Temp to Perm Opportunity 🌟
At Key Health, we take pride in the strong, long-standing relationships we’ve built with our clients by providing timely, professional, and tailored staffing solutions. We are now looking for a dedicated Team Leader to join a high-quality outreach service supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs in Cannock.
This is a temp-to-perm position with a 12-week probationary period, after which you’ll transition to a permanent role.
🔍 Role Overview
As a Team Leader, you will:
*
Oversee the day-to-day operational management of outreach services in Cannock.
*
Ensure the service is responsive, person-centred, and meets all CQC and contractual standards.
*
Support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and/or a forensic history, helping them live fulfilled, independent lives.
*
Promote a culture of respect, dignity, and positive behaviour support.
*
Split your time between rota-based shifts and management duties, including evenings and weekends.
✅ Requirements
*
Minimum 2 years’ management experience in a learning disability setting in the UK.
*
Proven ability to support individuals with complex needs, including autism and forensic backgrounds.
*
Experience working with external agencies and multi-disciplinary teams.
*
Relevant qualification (e.g. RNMH, RNLD, RMN, DipSW, NVQ Level 4) or extensive supervisory experience.
*
Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship).
*
Two references (including one from your most recent employer).
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (desirable).
*
Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
⏰ Hours & Pay
*
Full-time – 37.5 hours/week, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays on a rota basis.
*
Pay Rates (during probation):
*
Weekdays: £15.80/hour
*
Nights & Weekends: £16.00/hour
