Technical Estimator – Tewkesbury

We’re excited to be recruiting for a Technical Estimator to join a well-established, growing team based in Tewkesbury. This is a full-time, permanent role offering real opportunities for growth and career progression—ideal for an ambitious professional ready to take on a fresh challenge.
The Role:
As a Technical Estimator, you'll play a key role in preparing precise and competitive cost estimates for ventilation system projects across the UK. While primarily office-based, you’ll also have the chance to conduct occasional site visits to inform your assessments.
Your responsibilities will include:
Producing detailed cost estimates from project specs and site information
Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to identify project requirements, risks, and complexities
Collaborating closely with the Project Management and Sales Teams to secure new business and deliver on existing projects
Building and maintaining relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency
Attending UK site visits to gather information for assessments and surveys
What You’ll Need:
Proven experience in technical estimating, ideally within fire & security, ventilation systems, or similar sectors
Confidence reading and interpreting schematics, drawings, and technical specifications
Strong understanding of construction safety and security systems
Great communication skills with the ability to foster strong stakeholder relationships
Competence in using estimation software and MS Office tools
