Technical Services Manager -
We are working for one of the UK's premier Facilities Management (FM) providers, following a major contract acquisition they are now looking for a Technical Manager to lead engineering operations across a major campus in Surrey.
The site is large and complex, home to a variety of critical environments, HV, LV and complex HVAC systems. The Technical Services Manager will lead the Operations & Maintenance Teams and be responsible for implementing the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of site maintenance activities. The Technical services manager carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, as provided including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Technical Services manager actions will include:
* Support and lead account technical leadership to be responsible for the leadership of all resources involved in the delivery of Technical Services. (E.g., recruitment, ethics, performance assessment, personal development, personal wellbeing etc. driving ISS standing as employer of choice.
* Actively manage the professional development of all account technical personnel under his/her responsibility.
* Prepare and implement a Succession Plan for each Engineering Services key position across the Account within the Country.
* Be responsible for the implementation of Engineering technology platforms to support service delivery in the Account. Ensure the required reporting from the systems.
* Support the development and ensure effective implementation standard operating and maintenance procedures and processes for the Account (Group blueprints)
* Drive client specific initiatives such as savings targets, benchmarking, and best practice, including EHS Risk Management
* Source, transfer and implement best practices to the Account from both Group products and performance and Country products and performance and wider ISS community forums
Technical Services manager duties:
* Full qualifications with a preference to electrical and sound leadership experience
* Current, HV AP ticket
* Proven track record in successful people management including performance management and familiarity with operational HR process and procedure.
* Proven track record in delivering engineering solutions ideally in a critical environment.
