Maintenance Supervisor – Lead a High-Performing Engineering Team in a 24/7 Operation
📍 Location: Minworth | Full-time, Shift-based Role | Lead a team of 5+ Technicians
Are you an experienced Supervisor with a passion for engineering excellence? We’re on the lookout for a proactive Maintenance Supervisor to take charge of a skilled technical team in a fast-paced, round-the-clock warehouse operation. In this hands-on role, you’ll ensure that critical equipment is always operational, safety standards are upheld, and your team is set up for success.
🔑 What You’ll Be Doing:

As the team Supervisor, oversee the daily activities of technicians, manage performance, and support training and development.
*
Supervise all maintenance and repairs of key site infrastructure including cranes, motors, inverters, lighting, and more.
*
Coordinate shift schedules, assign work requests, and manage third-party contractors under your Supervisor responsibilities.
*
Track equipment downtime, lead root cause analysis, and support the drive for continuous improvement.
*
Ensure work is completed to a high standard, maintaining safety, compliance, and operational targets.
*
Support recruitment, training needs, and talent development alongside your Supervisor duties.
*
Act as the key point of contact for operational leadership—ensuring the Supervisor function aligns with client expectations and service level agreements.
🛠 What You Bring:

A completed engineering apprenticeship (multi-skilled) and previous experience in a Supervisor or lead technician role.
*
Strong technical knowledge of site infrastructure systems—cranes, control panels, motors, dock levellers, and lighting.
*
Excellent problem-solving, organisation, and communication skills.
*
Ability to work shift patterns and support absence or holiday cover within the team.
*
A confident, flexible, and self-motivated attitude.
