💼 Role: Temporary Credit Controller
🗓️ Duration: 2 months
⌚ Hours: 9am - 5.30pm
💰 Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
📍 Location: White City, London
We're working on behalf of a well-established and dynamic client based in White City, who is currently seeking a Temporary Credit Controller to support their finance team during a busy period. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven experience in credit control who enjoys working in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
📝 Key Responsibilities:
As the Temporary Credit Controller, you'll be responsible for:
Managing accounts receivable and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments
Contacting clients via phone and email to follow up on overdue invoices
Negotiating payment terms and plans where needed
Monitoring credit limits and assessing customer creditworthiness
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of credit control activity
Preparing and delivering regular reports on aged debt and outstanding balances
Investigating and resolving invoice disputes in collaboration with internal teams
Reporting directly to the Credit Control or Finance Manager
🔑 What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role
Solid understanding of credit processes and risk management
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
