The Role
The Terminal Operator is generally responsible for the safe receipt, storage, and delivery of bulk liquids of a flammable or hazardous characteristic including the general upkeep and security of the establishment.
The successful applicant will be required to work a Shift System as determined by the operational demands and provide an appropriate level of cover for staff holidays and sickness
Principal Responsibilities
* Participate in the connection and disconnection of cargo transfer systems and perform stand-by duties in accordance with policies and procedures
* Be flexible, when required, in performing tasks within the job holders scope of capabilities as reasonably required for the efficient and effective management service
* Sample Cargo and Product as per operating procedures
* Assume site housekeeping ownership and perform routine checks of the duty area
* Carry out routine maintenance on site equipment as directed
* Undertake training as required to comply with Company regulations and legislative requirements
This is a full-time permanent position in a busy challenging environment, you must be self-motivated with a desire to succeed in working to tight deadlines, you will be working within an experienced team and going forward there is an opportunity for career progression with a company that is expanding all the time.
