Job Description

My Stock Market listed PLC client is currently seeking a Trade Branch Manager for their busy, thriving Branch located in Scunthorpe. We are focused on speaking to candidates with the following attributes: * Management Experience * A drive for sales, wanting to maximise margins * Great levels of Customer Service * Motivated and Enthusiastic * Leadership Skills * Customer Facing Experience – dealing with people face-to-face * Good knowledge of IT * A driving license is ESSENTIAL * An FLT License would be beneficial, however not essential. As specialists within their sector, they have a Trade Counter Network of around 250+ branches and have experienced a huge amount of growth in recent years. They are extremely keen on promoting from within and there is a great deal of scope with this position to advance through the business! Day to Day Duties will include: * Lead their Branch, and use their team management skills to lead and develop a small team * Ensure their Branch operates as effectively as possible * Develop relationships with their customers, and enhance the sales and customer experience within the branch * Manage day to day Branch operations and the branch team in order to deliver excellence * Manage team absences and deployment * Support the regional teams with recruitment * Provide exceptional customer service and operational standards and ensure Branch sales targets are achieved * Support training and maintain training records for Branch staff What’s on Offer: * A starting Salary of £29,703 per annum and a realistic and achievable Monthly Bonus giving an OTE of £39,686 per annum * 33 days annual leave * Company Pension Plan and Life Assurance * Discounts across a wide range of goods * Ongoing career development and training * Christmas shutdown period * Only working occasional Saturdays, on a rota basis and they don't open the branches on Sundays * Their branches close at 4:30pm during the week, our client supports your work/life balance! * FREE Healthcare plan for all their employees * Enhanced Maternity and Paternity benefit * An excellent monthly bonus scheme * Colleague Referral Programme; they pay you for successfully referring people to join the team * Care First Employee Assistance Programme, available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for confidential support and advice, if and when you need it Hours of work will be flexible days throughout the week covering 44 hours per week on a rota
