Job Description
Traffic Marshal - New Build Housing Site (Knaresborough)
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Traffic Marshal to join our team for a new build housing project in Knaresborough. This is a short-term role, offering an excellent opportunity to work on a busy and dynamic construction site.
Position: Traffic Marshal
Location: Knaresborough, North Yorkshire
Duration: 4 weeks
Pay: £16.50 Umbrella payment per hour
Shift: 07:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday
Start Date: Monday (Immediate start)
Requirements: NPORS or CPCS Traffic Marshal qualification required
Key Responsibilities:
Manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic on-site to ensure smooth flow and safety
Direct vehicles and site traffic in a safe and efficient manner
Ensure all site traffic regulations are followed
Liaise with site management to ensure safe access and egress to and from the site
Communicate effectively with site workers and visitors to maintain safety standards
Carry out regular checks to ensure site traffic areas are clear and safe
Essential Requirements:
Valid NPORS or CPCS Traffic Marshal certification
Previous experience working as a Traffic Marshal on construction sites
Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm and professional in busy environments
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Good knowledge of site safety protocols and regulations
Benefits:
