Job Description
Our client is a long established Tax and Advisory business, helping clients manage their Isle of Man, UK and International tax requirements, along with business and financial structures, estate and trust planning. Their highly qualified team of advisers are either Chartered Tax Advisors and/or Chartered Accountants and now require a Trainee Tax Assistant to join and support the team as the practice enjoys a period of continued growth.
You will enjoy full training and mentorship from a professional, supportive team, progressing toward a formal qualification.
As Trainee Tax Assistant you may anticipate:
* Working alongside the Tax Associates and Tax Manager in support of their day-to-day workload
* Developing knowledge of tax compliance and general taxation for both IOM and UK jurisdictions
The ideal candidate for the role of Trainee Tax Assistant will have:
* Be an experienced Bookkeeper or Trainee Accountants with a desire to train as a Tax Assistants
* Be quick to learn
* Keen to pursue a formal qualification (ATT / CTA)
* Be educated to a high standard - in particular demonstrate A' level or GCSE in Matheamtics at grade B or above
* Able to work well within a team, be accurate and a clear communicator
* Diligent and highly organisedBefore You Apply
