Job Description
We are delighted to be supporting an employee-owned business with over 50 years industry expertise. They are a family business, and all of their team members are key to their success.
Reporting to the Used Parts Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Used Parts Assistant to join our team. This is a role where you will have every opportunity to develop and grow with our business.
This role is a fully encompassing role and will involve outside yard-based activities along with administrative functions.
Full training will be given to enable you to carry out the following duties:
Selling used parts
Locating and identifying parts from yard locations
Communicating with customers (in person, on the phone, via email)
Organising logistics and taking card payments.
All admin associated with used parts sales (invoicing, dispatch paperwork, etc.)
Updating parts and machines on our website
As well as the desire to learn and develop, ideally you will:
Have good computer literacy skills and knowledge
Be proficient in handling administrative tasks, invoicing, and marketing responsibilities
Have the ability to address and resolve issues independently and efficiently
Have strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs.
Be capable of managing the full scope of the role independently, especially in the absence of the Used Parts Manager. The package
Salary on commencement - £27,000 per annum
Based on a 40-hour week (8:00 - 16:30)
Full Training courses will be provided
32 days holiday including bank holidays + Birthday Leave and holiday purchase options
Subject to qualifying periods:
Annual attendance bonus
Full sick pay
