Job Description

Training Operations Coordinator Telford, Shropshire – Office based Contract (Maternity Cover – up to 12 months with the possibility of extension or adjustment) £28,120 pro rata (based on contract duration) Monday – Friday 37.5 hours a week – Early finish on a Friday This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful Telford based organisation, who are looking for an experienced Training Operations Coordinator to join their team. You will be responsible for the daily operations of the business, supporting colleagues and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate first class administration and organisational skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels. You will be a team player, however, possess the ability to work well under own initiative and have strong IT skills. Training Operations Coordinator Responsibilities will include: * Carry out administrative tasks such as sending course joining instructions, updating the CRM, preparing course materials and filing paperwork Carry out quality/compliance tasks such as checking candidates’ paperwork to ensure they are eligible to attend the course they are booked on, reviewing completed course paperwork for accuracy and ensuring training records are up to date at all times Coordinate and monitor academy bookings, ensuring all instructors have the required information, course materials and instructions to deliver exceptional training (including travel planning when required) * Scheduling of training programs and support the Academy Manager with changing schedules when necessary (due to illness/training requirements etc.) * Collaborate with other departments to ensure that sales, operational and customer needs are met. * Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to training delivery. * Identify areas for improvement in processes and procedures and make recommendations for change * Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for customers and instructors * Other adhoc duties as assigned by the Academy Manager to support the smooth running of the department * Compiling management information/reports, attending meetings and taking minutes Essential Experience: * Experience coordinating training activities or supporting operational management within a small, busy organisation * Ability to handle urgent tasks calmly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations * Ability to consistently deliver a high standard of customer service, both internally and externally * Determination to quickly understand the training courses the Academy offers * Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel Desirable Experience: * Experience of using Hubspot CRM * Experience of supervising/leading a field team * Proficient in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint and Teams * Work experience in a compliance-led industry (banking/insurance etc.) * Knowledge/experience of Warehousing, Transport and Logistics training The application process: Our mission is to support our clients in their creation of an equal, diverse and inclusive workforce.
