Transport Administrator | NG17 Sutton in Ashfield | Nights £16.43 Per Hour
Sunday - Thursday | Full Time
Barker Ross are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator for a leading 3rd party logistics business.
Shift pattern: Sunday to Thursday 21:30pm - 05:00am
Full training provided
This is an ongoing role that could become permanent in the future
Key details:
- Despatching loads and drivers
- Filing paperwork
- Scanning POD'S
- Log and create a call out for any defects for drivers on the road
- Planning routes
- Communication with drivers and customer to ensure all routes and runs are fulfilled
Key skills needed for this role:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to be proactive and to anticipate problems before they arrive
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Forward thinker
Qualifications:
- Previous Administration / Customer Service experience
- Transport background is preferred but not essential
