Description
Oversee all transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Liaise with suppliers to manage stock efficiently.
Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimise supply chain processes.
Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries or issues related to transport services.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of transport activities within overall business operations.
Utilise IT systems, including Outlook and Word, to manage schedules, documentation, and reporting.
Maintain accurate records of transport activities, including vehicle maintenance and compliance checks.
Train and supervise staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and high performance within the transport team.Profile
Proven experience in logistics or transport management.
Strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in IT applications such as Outlook and Word.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to resolve issues promptly.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making within a fast-paced environment.
CPC Transport Manager Qualification.
