Van Driver / Warehouse Operative - Barrow-in-Furness
📅 4-Week Contract (Potential to Become Ongoing)
💰 Pay: £12.21 PAYE | £13.69 PAYE Advanced
Driver Hire Lancaster is looking for a reliable and hard-working Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our client in Barrow-in-Furness. This role offers a great mix of driving and warehouse duties and could lead to ongoing work for the right person! 💼
🔧 What You'll Be Doing:
🚚 Making multi-drop deliveries to local customers in a 3.5t van
📦 Assisting in the warehouse with stock, orders, and general duties
⏰ Working Monday to Friday
🕖 Work hours 08:00-17:00
✅ What You'll Need:
A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points and no major endorsements
Previous van driving and/or warehouse experience preferred
Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Eagerness to help where needed
