Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our Automotive franchise-approved commercial vehicle business Client for a LCV Technician / Van Technician based in the Swansea area.
Benefits:
Starting salary of £18.33 per hour. (£37,000 basic wage, £40,500 including Saturday mornings)
Access to an annual commitment bonus paying circa £600 as well as a profit share bonus scheme dependent on the company's annual performance (paid £700 per person in 2024)
Overtime, subject to availability, paid at an enhanced rate of time and a half.
22 days annual leave plus the 8 bank holidays, rising to 25 days after 5 years of service and then 27 days after 10 years of service.

Working hours are on a split shift Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm, then 2:00pm to 10:00pm with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings 8:00am-1:00pm.Responsibilities:
General Servicing
Repair of Vehicle Defects
MOT preparation and repair work
Vehicle Inspection
Completion of associated paperwork
DiagnosticsRequirements:
Fully Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a LCV Technician / Van Technician
Working experience within a busy LCV Workshop
Have an up-to-date knowledge of current repair methods
Driving Licence is Essential.The salary of this Van Technician position is £36,961 basic.
The hours of work within this role are Split shifts Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm, then 2:00pm to 10:00pm with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings, 8:00am-1:00pm.
