Job Description
Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA)
Location: Chester
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-time | Permanent
The Opportunity We’re working with a modern, well-equipped accident repair centre in Chester that’s continuing to invest in both its people and its workshop infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for a VDA looking to step into a site where development is taken seriously, and progression into management is a real possibility.

What You’ll Be Doing
Assessing accident damage and producing accurate repair estimates using Audatex
Communicating with insurers, engineers, and customers to ensure smooth approval and repair timelines
Preparing both manual and computerised estimates
Ensuring authorisation for any supplementary repair work
Working to high standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction
Supporting the wider team with technical advice and estimate accuracy
What You’ll Need
Experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor in a bodyshop or accident repair centre
Current Audatex certification
ATA accreditation (preferred, not essential)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general admin duties
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload
Clear, confident communication skills
