Vehicle Inspector – Thurleigh, Bedfordshire
Shift: Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00
Pay: £14.79 per hour
Contract: Long-term, ongoing work
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a respected name in the automotive industry, who is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Vehicle Inspector to join their busy team in Thurleigh. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any required safety or service work
* Accurately document findings and recommendations on job cards or repair orders
* Conduct road tests to diagnose issues and confirm vehicle condition
* Perform a range of diagnostic checks and assist with minor repairs where needed
* Support fellow technicians with vehicle assessments and diagnostics
* Complete other related tasks and ad-hoc bookings as required
What We’re Looking For:
* At least 1 year of experience in a similar role as a Vehicle Inspector or Technician
* Full UK Driving Licence, with the ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
* Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently
* Passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to high standards
* Exceptional attention to detail
