Vehicle Preparation Operative
Location: Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire
Shift: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
Pay Rate: £13.51 p/h
Job Type: Full-Time, Ongoing
We’re hiring on behalf of our client for a hands-on, mechanically minded individual to join their team in Upper Heyford!
If you enjoy tinkering with cars, aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty, and want a stable Monday–Friday role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Changing vehicle batteries and checking charge levels
* Fitting seat covers and roof racks
* Carrying out basic recall tasks (e.g., replacing light bulbs)
* General vehicle preparation duties
What We’re Looking For:
* A strong interest in cars and how they work
* Mechanically inclined – enjoys working with tools and vehicle components
* Hard-working and reliable team player
* Willingness to learn – no formal qualifications required
* Must hold a full UK driving licence and be over 21 (due to insurance purposes)
