Salary: A basic salary of £36,800 with on-target earnings of £44,000 and an uncapped bonus scheme.

Job Description: We’re looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a successful franchised van dealership in Reading. If you have a passion for working with vehicles and want to advance your career with a supportive team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. In this role, you’ll work with the latest technology and a variety of vehicles, performing essential maintenance and repair tasks.
Experience Required:
* Qualified to at least NVQ Level II in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
* MOT Tester qualification preferred but not essential.
* Proficient in the use of automotive diagnostic equipment
* A commitment to delivering work of the highest quality
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to engage in ongoing learning
Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
* Perform routine maintenance and vehicle repairs
* Carry out vehicle health checks and pre-delivery inspections.
* Warranty work
* Utilize diagnostic tools to accurately identify issues
* Work collaboratively to ensure high standards of customer service
* Participate in ongoing training, both in-house and externally as required.
