Job Title: Vehicle Technician – Main Dealership
Location: Lowestoft
Salary: £28,600 - £39,400 per year plus bonus
Job Type: Full-time
Working Hours:
42.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:00
1 in 4 Saturdays: 07:45 - 16:45 (with a day off during the week)Benefits:
22 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

We are seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join a well-established main dealership in Lowestoft. As a Vehicle Technician, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of vehicles and further develop your skills. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing vehicles in a timely and efficient manner. You will work as part of a professional team of Vehicle Technicians, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard and in compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician:
Diagnose, repair, and service vehicles, ensuring they meet the manufacturer’s specifications
Work with a team of Vehicle Technicians to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
Maintain high standards of workmanship, ensuring vehicle safety and performance
Carry out vehicle inspections and follow repair procedures as outlined
Collaborate with fellow Vehicle Technicians and the service team to meet customer needs
Keep up-to-date with new technologies, ensuring that the Vehicle Technician team is always working with the latest tools and equipment
Provide expert advice and technical support to customers when needed
Ensure all work is completed efficiently to meet deadlinesWhat We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance or Repair
A full, clean driving license
MOT Tester qualification (preferred but not essential)
Experience working as a Vehicle Technician, preferably in a main dealership
Excellent diagnostic skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
