Job Description
Our OEM Client based in Essex, is searching for a Vehicle Technician to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a 6-month contract position, 37.5 hours a week.
Umbrella Pay Rate: £23.13 per hour, rising to £28.63 per hour.
Position Description:
The role is for Vehicle Technician. Interface to workshop and test facilities as required to achieving set tasks/goals.
Skills Required:
Work as a member of a team to keep vehicles updated with correct level h/w and controls.
Arrange installation of required instrumentation with relevant workshop groups.
Organize vehicle test fleet activities - climatic test in chamber and test trip organisation.
Arranging shipment of vehicles and equipment as required.
Carry out administrative duties - documentation of vehicles - registration, tax etc.
Co-ordination and records keeping, shipping documentation, requisitioning equipment and materials.
Keeping and working to plans as required to support the calibration team.
Experience Required:
Experience in Vehicle Testing and Powertrain Calibration activities.
Experience Preferred:
Ability to Log data using calibration tools, update controls modules as required.
Education Required:
Engineering Related.
