Vetro is actively seeking experienced waking night Learning Disability Support Workers on behalf of a client based in Swansea, on an Ad-hoc basis. The service users will be 18 years old and above with autism and complex needs. A desire to make a difference in individuals' lives is essential to this role. You will be assisting in their day-to-day lives, in their home, and in the community, taking out on activities to promote independence. You will be helping with their Progression through a care pathway to live as independently as possible. You will have the support of a team of multi-professionals. The candidate: What you'll need to be successful as a Learning Disability Support Worker: A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with Learning Disabilities Empathetic, caring and resilient nature A minimum of 6 months experience of working within a social care setting in the UK Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one The right to work in the UKVetro Recruitment acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
