Our Client process involves working with frozen RAW meat . They are seeking a passionate individual to join thier journey in delivering top-quality, frozen dog food to our customers.
Role Overview: You you will be at the heart of their operations, involved in every step of their DOG Food Manufacturing process. From handling raw meat to the final stages of packaging, your role will be pivotal in maintaining our high standards of quality and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Meat Handling: Safely handling raw meat ensuring it meets our stringent quality criteria.
Processing: making up our recipes to exacting standards to ensure consistency and quality
Fulfilment: Packaging, labelling, and preparing orders for dispatch. This can involve working in a freezer for periods of time
Quality Assurance: Regular checks to ensure our products meet our high standards.
Safety Compliance: Adhering to all food safety regulations and maintaining a clean working environment.
Requirements:
A genuine interest in meat processing production is essential.
Physical Fitness: The role involves standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks, including carrying loads up to 25kg.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.as well at times working on your own
Attention to Detail: Precision in handling meat, following recipes, and packaging.
Flexibility: Willingness to undertake additional training and tasks
Transport: Own transport is recommended due to the remote location
Clean as you go attitude and a high standard of cleanliness
Desirable Skills:
Previous experience in food production, especially meat processing.
Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety.
Knowledge of HACCAP
