Our Crawley based client is looking for hardworking and reliable, Warehouse Operatives to working in the very busy packing department.
Benefits of working as a Warehouse Operative
* Competitive pay rates: £13.40 per hour, rising to £14.12 after 12 weeks
* 4 on 4 of shift pattern (6am-6pm) Days only
* Holiday accrual system
* On site parking, as well as being commutable via public transport.
* Temporary position of 3 months minimum
Duties of a Packing Operative:
* Following different packing specifications depending on the destination of the goods
* Use of the in-house computer system and label printing software
* Packing, boxing, and palletising goods for distribution around the world
* Labelling packaging and Checking Batch Numbers
* Manual handling (constant bending, lifting and stacking)
What we are looking for:
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Knowledge, confidence and ability to use computer systems
* Good communication skills both written and spoken
* This is a physically demanding role with constant bending, lifting, and stacking.
