Job Description
Apex Resources are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for their prestigious manufacturing clients Warehouse and Logistics Department based in North Ayrshire.
This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the Warehouse Areas.
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
* · Carry out Warehouse operations in line with all standard operating procedures.
* · Ensure all operating areas and equipment are maintained to the required levels of GMP and cleanliness.
* · Ensure product complies with all quality requirements.
* · Ensure material is being delivered to production on time as per plan.
* · Control all inwards/outwards deliveries.
* · Ensure all health, safety and environmental standards are maintained.
* · Ensuring that reporting staff fulfil daily responsibilities
* · H&S requirement of equipment and PPE are being adhered to.
* · Daily paperwork is completed to the required standard for integrity
* · Ensuring that reporting staff are trained to appropriate standards and manage the development plans for each reporting team member
* · Prepare and manage SOPs for the Warehouse areas.
* · Monitor and report logistics status vs plan requirements
* · Support departmental KPI measuring
* · Support the design and development of equipment, processes and procedures to ensure that they are designed to meet GMP, H&S standards
* · Prepare and manage risk assessments of the Logistics areas
General:
* · Implement a continual improvement philosophy
* · Follow company guidelines, policy and systems for Health, Safety and the Environment
* · Build trust through effective communication with all departments of the group
* · Offer support to any other areas of the business as required
This is a permanent position for the correct candidate
Hours of work are:
Continental Shift pattern (2-2, 3-2, 2-3 Pattern)
Over a four-weekly period
Week 1. Monday and Tuesday 06:00 – 18:00
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 06:00 – 18:00
Week 2. Wednesday and Thursday 06:00 – 18:00
Week 3. Monday and Tuesday 18:00 – 06:00
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 18:00 – 06:00
Week 4. Wednesday and Thursday 18:00 – 06:00
