Job Title: Water Treatment Sales / Business Development Manager
Location: Harlow, Hertfordshire
Salary/Benefits: £30k - £50k + Training & Benefits
Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and forward-thinking Water Treatment Sales / Business Development Manager in the South East of England. You will be joining a growing and professional outfit, who are looking to increase their portfolio of Cooling Tower, Steam Boiler, Domestic and Closed System clients. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and ideally will have a proactive and ambitious attitude when approaching client on-boarding. We are seeking someone who is based in / around the following areas: Harlow, Bishop's Stortford, Chelmsford, Billericay, Basildon, Romford, Ilford, Grays, Enfield, Hitchin, Luton, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, Aylesbury, Thame, Bicester, Watford, High Wycombe, Potters Bar, Welwyn Garden City, Maidenhead, Slough, Windsor, Bracknell, Wembley, Harrow, Southall, London, Twickenham, Weybride, Woking, Kingston upon Thames, Surbiton, Mitchal, Epsom, Sutton, Croydon, Bromley, Sidcup, Erith, Orpington, Sidcup.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have proven success working as a Water Treatment Sales / Business Development Manager
- Fully versed in technical guidelines, such as: ACOP L8 AND HSG 274
- Confident in B2B sales and lead generation
- Knowledgeable about a variation of sales techniques
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of IT applications, including industry software and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional manner
The Role:
- To support the increase in business revenue through on-boarding new Cooling Tower, Steam Boiler, Domestic hot & cold and Closed System clients
- Identifying gaps in the business in order to develop revenues in these areas
- Researching potential client leads and making contact in order to sell and advise on company services
- Producing competitive and comprehensive sales plans and presenting to clients
- Being a key point of contact for new and existing clients
- Renewing of contracts with clients
- Attending site meetings to discuss contract requirements and providing technical advice, as well as upselling of further services
- Ensuring to keep up to date with technical knowledge
- Overseeing the performance of site staff, ensuring that projects are delivered to agreed budget, timescale and company standards
- Meeting with members of management to discuss company and sales performance
