Job Description
Weighbridge Operator
42.5 hours
7am till 4 pm Monday to Friday
5 Months Contract
Weighbridge Operator - Working as part of a team, responsible for the safe delivery and removal of waste materials to and from Joint Stocks Landfill Site.
The site is an active green waste composting site producing PAS100 certified compost from garden waste collected from County Durham Residents.
The role involves operating the sites weighbridges to weigh in and out all vehicles delivering or removing wastes or products, and producing accurate weighbridge records and accompanying documentation for every transaction.
The role will also involve carrying out site inductions, giving instructions to site users, taking card payments and maintaining site records. This is a frontline role where customer service is of paramount importance.
