We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a specialist team on a bespoke project basis. This is a hands-on, varied role that goes beyond standard welding, ideal for someone with a technical mindset and engineering background.
This role sits outside of IR35 and offers a minimum three-month contract, with the potential for extension depending on project flow and performance.
Responsibilities:
Welding of bespoke stainless steel structures (primarily 304, some 316)
MIG and TIG welding to high standards
Cutting, bending, and fabricating components
Adding brackets and structural fittings
Assembling pre-manufactured elements
Interpreting drawings and technical specs to build custom projectsRequirements:
Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
Competence in working with 304 and 316 stainless steel
Strong fabrication skills - cutting, bending, and general assembly
Engineering or technically-minded background
Ability to work independently and problem-solve on bespoke builds
Understanding of structural integrity and design practicalityHourly rate:
£20 - £28 an hour (dependant on experience)
