Job Description
We’re hiring for an experienced Welder to join a specialist engineering business based in the High Peak.
You'll be responsible for carrying out a wide variety of welding processes across mild and stainless steel components.
What’s on offer?
* £18.50 per hour
* Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
* Early finish on Fridays
* 21 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
* Overtime available

What will you be doing as a Welder?
* Carrying out MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, titanium, and duplex materials
* Working from technical drawings to fabricate a variety of components
* Performing visual inspections and maintaining a high level of weld quality
* Operating within safety guidelines and reporting any hazards or defects
* Supporting production with ad hoc fitting and fabrication tasks when required
* Ensuring all work meets the required specifications and industry standards
What do you need?
* Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
* Experience working with a range of metals including stainless, mild, titanium, and duplex
* Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings
* A team-focused attitude and commitment to safe working practices
* Welding codes/certifications (desirable but not essential)
