Job Description
Join our growing client who are delivering specialist engineering projects all across the UK. We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Works Manager to oversee job coordination, site supervision, and staff leadership in a fast-paced, safety-first environment.
What You’ll Do:
*
Lead and manage multiple projects from planning to completion.
*
Supervise site teams (including two foremen), ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
*
Monitor performance against budgets, materials, labour, and timelines.
*
Maintain clear communication with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
*
Support the General Manager with new business opportunities and meeting annual targets.
*
Manage equipment, materials, and site logistics to avoid delays.
*
Oversee documentation, including SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) plans, lifetime quality records, and project reporting.
What You’ll Need:
*
8+ years in marine or civil engineering.
*
Proven leadership and project management experience.
*
Strong communication and organisational skills.
*
Ability to read technical drawings and project specifications.
*
IOSH Managing Safely (preferred).
*
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as needed.
