Diesel Workshop Engineer (Generators)- Nights
WB Power Services is currently recruiting for a Diesel Workshop Engineer to join our team at our Head Office in Heanor, Derbyshire. This role is an exciting opportunity to become part of a rapidly growing business. We’re seeking a driven and motivated Diesel Workshop Engineer to support our team and help us maintain our high standards during this period of expansion.

The Role:
Service, repair, and maintain diesel generators and components
Strip down and rebuild diesel engines and generator parts
Diagnose and rectify faults
Provide support to colleagues on the road when required (company vehicle provided)
Troubleshoot generator issues
Follow company Health & Safety, environmental, and quality management systems
Keep accurate records using our bespoke management system
Work closely with internal teams to ensure jobs are on time and within budgetThe Person:
Experience with diesel generators or HGV servicing
Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or 5 years' relevant experience with generators from 20kVA upwards
Workshop engineering experience is desirable
Familiarity with electronics and mechanical components, including engines and alternators
Ability to understand and complete risk assessments
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
A valid UK driving licence is advantageousWhat We Offer:
£32,000 - £41,000+ (DOE)
Night time shift allowance
