XCL are currently looking for a Yard Co-ordinator on behalf of one of our well-established clients operating within the signage industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced yard professional with FLT qualifications and a background in team supervision to join a growing and reputable company.
Job Summary:
As the Yard Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in managing the daily operations of the yard, ensuring smooth movement of materials, maintaining health and safety standards, and supporting a small team. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, valid FLT licenses (Reach Truck and Counterbalance), and previous supervisory / team leader experience.
Main Duties Will Include:
* Coordinating the movement and storage of materials within the warehouse
* Operating FLT (Reach Truck and Counterbalance) to load/unload vehicles and stock
* Supervising and supporting yard operatives on day-to-day tasks
* Ensuring all yard activities are carried out safely and efficiently
* Working closely with production, logistics, and warehouse teams
* Keeping the yard and warehouse organised and clean to maintain operational efficiency
Key Requirements:
* Valid FLT Reach Truck and Counterbalance licences
* Previous experience working in a yard or warehouse environment
* Team leader or supervisory background is essential
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* Attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
* Comfortable working outdoors and in a hands-on role
* Monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMBefore You Apply
