Job Description
Forklift Truck/Yard Operator – 6-Month Contract (Inside IR35)
Location: Bargeddie
Contract Type: 6-Month Contract (Potential to Become Permanent)
Rate: £14.00 per hour PAYE
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (6-hour shifts between 6:30am – 4:30pm, rota-based)
Our client is seeking a reliable Forklift Truck/Yard Operator for their site in Bargeddie. This is a 30-hour per week role offered on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Forklift Truck/Yard Operator Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a forklift truck safely and efficiently.
* Carry out yard duties as required.
* Use hand-held scanning devices (training provided).
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
* Support operational tasks and assist with team duties when required.
* Work flexibly, including covering shifts during staff absence.
Forklift Truck/Yard Operator Requirements:
* Valid FLT licence - Counterbalance
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Strong team player with good communication skills.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work at pace.
* IT literate and comfortable using scanning devices.
