In this role, you will play a crucial part in the recycling process, ensuring that materials are sorted and processed efficiently. Responsibilities
* Sort and separate recyclable materials from waste streams, ensuring proper categorisation of items.
* Operate machinery and equipment used in the recycling process, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
* Perform routine maintenance on recycling equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
* Assist in the loading and unloading of materials onto conveyor belts or into containers.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, following all health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and improve recycling efficiency.
Experience
* Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
* Mechanical knowledge is highly desirable, as it will aid in operating and maintaining machinery effectively.
