We are seeking a passionate Year 1 Teacher to join our vibrant primary school in Hillingdon for a full-time, fixed-term contract starting September 2025. The Role:
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering creative, engaging, and well-structured lessons that inspire young learners. Your role will include supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development, ensuring a positive start to their primary education. You will be joining a team of enthusiastic educators and will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our Year 1 pupils.
This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for 1 year, with the potential for extension based on future school needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum and Year 1 expectations.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and motivated to learn.

Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing regular feedback and support to help students reach their potential.

Support the social and emotional development of students, helping them transition into Key Stage 1.
*
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

Collaborate with the wider school community to share best practices and contribute to school improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*
Experience teaching Year 1 or within Key Stage 1.
*
A passion for working with young children and a commitment to creating a positive, stimulating learning environment.

Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a classroom effectively.

A collaborative team player who is eager to work with colleagues to improve outcomes for students.
