About the Role
Position: Year 2 Teacher
Location: Ware, Hertfordshire
Contract: Full-time, permanent (term time + INSET days)
Salary: MPS1 to MPS6 (dependent on experience)As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and effective lessons, fostering a love of learning, and supporting children to reach their full potential-academically, socially, and emotionally.

We're seeking a teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Is innovative, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement
Has strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies
Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
Understands that behaviour is a form of communication and can use positive strategies to support pupils
Has excellent spoken and written English and a sound understanding of Maths
Is able to commute to Ware and fully commit to the life of the school
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' needs
Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
Create a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and resilience
Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external partners
Contribute to the wider school life through extracurricular and enrichment activities
