The Opportunity:
A well-regarded and welcoming primary school in the London Borough of Havering is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis. The position is available to start immediately and will run through to the end of the summer term, with the possibility of extension into a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of Year 2 students.
* Assess students' progress and provide targeted interventions to support their learning.
* Help prepare students for end-of-key-stage assessments, ensuring they achieve their potential.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident and motivated to learn.
* Collaborate with the teaching team to implement effective teaching strategies.
* Maintain strong communication with parents and carers regarding student progress and welfare.

What We’re Looking For:
* Qualifications: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
* Experience: Prior teaching experience in Key Stage 1, particularly within Year 2, is highly desirable.
* Skills: Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, effective classroom and behaviour management, and excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Professional Attributes: A reflective, resilient, and child-centred practitioner who is committed to continuous improvement.
* Passion: Demonstrates a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.
