The Opportunity:
A thriving and well-established primary school in Greenwich is seeking a dedicated and creative Year 4 Teacher to join their team from September 2025. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver dynamic, well-structured lessons in Year 4, ensuring that all areas of the Key Stage 2 curriculum are covered in an engaging and inclusive manner.

Continuously assess and monitor pupil progress, using feedback and data to adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.

Foster a positive classroom culture where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn, maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement.
*
Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the school to ensure a cohesive approach to curriculum delivery, sharing best practices and contributing to school development.
*
Build strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child’s progress and involving them in their educational journey.
*
Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities, school events, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*
In-depth knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum and proven experience in delivering creative and inclusive lessons that engage and inspire students.
*
Strong ability to assess pupil progress and adjust teaching to ensure all children are challenged and supported.
*
Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain a positive and effective learning environment.
*
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
*
A commitment to professional development and a passion for teaching and supporting student achievement.
