At Supply Desk, we are excited to announce an opportunity for an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Amersham. The successful applicant will inspire and lead Year 5 pupils, delivering engaging lessons that ignite a passion for learning and help students reach their full potential.
The Role/Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to Key Stage 2 students.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and creativity.
Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning – this includes participating in meetings or curriculum planning.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and behaviour.
Ideal Candidate:
Hold QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification (unqualified teachers are also welcome to apply).
Previous experience teaching in a primary school, specifically in Year 5 or KS2.
A positive and enthusiastic approach to education with a passion for inspiring young learners.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Right to work in the UK.
A creative and engaging teaching style, capable of making lessons fun and interactive.
Ability to commute to Amersham.
