The Opportunity:
An exceptional primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint a dynamic and committed Year 5 Teacher for September 2025. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and differentiated lessons in line with the Year 5 National Curriculum, ensuring the development of both academic and personal skills.

Use a range of formative and summative assessments to track pupil progress, inform future planning, and provide constructive feedback.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes high standards of behaviour, engagement, and academic success.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to curriculum delivery, and contribute to the development of whole-school initiatives.

Build strong, supportive relationships with parents and carers, ensuring regular communication and involvement in their child’s learning journey.

Take an active role in school life, contributing to extracurricular activities, school events, and staff development opportunities.
Person Specification:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*
Strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum and a proven track record of delivering engaging, creative lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

Experience using assessment to track pupil progress, identify learning gaps, and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
*
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, engaging learning environment.
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
*
A commitment to professional development and an enthusiasm for delivering high-quality, student-centered education.
