About the Role:
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in preparing our students for the transition to secondary school. You will be responsible for delivering the Year 6 curriculum, preparing students for their end-of-year assessments, and fostering a learning environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and resilience. The role also includes supporting students’ social and emotional development during this important year.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach a full range of subjects in line with the Year 6 National Curriculum, including preparing students for SATs.

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students.

Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and setting clear targets for improvement.

Develop an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Work closely with other Year 6 teachers to plan and implement cross-curricular projects.

Support the social and emotional development of students, preparing them for the transition to secondary school.

Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed of student progress and achievements.
The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*
Experience teaching in Year 6 (or upper primary) is highly desirable.
*
Knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation.
*
A proven track record of raising standards and achieving high student outcomes.
*
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
