Salary: £85–£95 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only

Are you passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)?
Do you have experience working 1:1 with pupils who need tailored support to thrive in the classroom?
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated 1:1 ASC Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Poulton area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a child with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASC, helping them access learning and manage transitions
Implement strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised interventions
Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and daily feedback
Promote a calm, inclusive and structured learning environment
Requirements:
Experience supporting children with ASC or other SEND
Strong understanding of autism and associated needs
Patience, empathy and a proactive approach
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
