1:1 Behaviour Mentors needed!
Outstanding Primary Special School in Uxbridge, West London
32.5 hours/week | Term-time only
Salary: £450 - £550 p/w

Career Teachers is working with an outstanding special needs school that supports primary-aged children with moderate to complex learning difficulties. They're a warm, inclusive, and high-achieving school where every child is encouraged to thrive.
The Role
We're looking for experienced and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentors to join our team. You'll work closely with teachers to support pupils' learning and development in a nurturing environment.
What You'll Need
3+ years' experience with children with special needs
Strong written, verbal, and numeracy skills (tested)
NVQ Level 2/3 (Scale 6) or Level 3 (Scale 7) or equivalent
Team player with initiative
Willingness to support children with challenging behaviours
Bonus Skills (Desirable)
Experience with multisensory and differentiated learning
Training in TEACCH, SCERTS, or similar approaches
Knowledge of motivational behaviour strategies
Your Responsibilities
Support teachers in the classroom
Provide 1:1 or small group support
Help deliver tailored lessons
Build strong relationships with pupils
Stay up-to-date with SEN best practicesWe Offer:
