An outstanding Independent Primary School in Kensington and Chelsea is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their Reception team from September 2025.
This is a permanent position providing 1:1 support for a child in Reception, nurturing their academic, social, and emotional development in a warm and structured environment.
The Role
* Work 1:1 with a Reception pupil, supporting their progress across all areas of the EYFS curriculum
* Assist with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy learning
* Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised support strategies
* Foster engagement through play-based learning and clear routines
* Track progress and communicate regularly with staff and parents
The Ideal Candidate
* A recent graduate, ideally in Education, Psychology, Early Childhood Studies, or a related field
* Passionate about early years education and supporting individual needs
* Experience working with children in a school, nursery, or voluntary setting
* Calm, patient, and proactive, with excellent communication skills
* Committed to supporting the long-term growth of a child and contributing to the wider school community
